Henry Neufeld
1926 – 1983

Henry Neufeld of 4258 Wilson Road, Yarrow, B.C. died on March 10th 1983 in his 57th year, at Chilliwack General Hospital.

Henry came to Canada in 1949, settling in the Yarrow area, moved to Vancouver, worked in construction for several years and then moved back to Yarrow in 1959 and took up dairy farming, which he continued to do until his death.

He was a member of the Yarrow United Mennonite Church and also a member of the FVMPA (Fraser Valley Milk Producers Association.

He is survived by his wife Katherine; two daughter Linda and Lorraine both at home and two sisters Elizabeth Krause of Abbotsford and Hilda Guenther of Yarrow.

Funeral services were held on March 14th 1983 at the Yarrow United Mennonite Church. Pastor Arnold Fast and Rev. Henry Claassen officiated.

Active pallbearers were Harvey Krause, Dan Schellenberg, Peter Krause, Menno Schellenberg and Cornelius Neufeld.

Burial was at Yarrow Cemetery
