Helene Loewen

June 13 1897 -July 28 1975

A resident of Yarrow since 1949 and in the Menno Private Hospital for two months, Mrs. Helene Loewen of 4351 Second Street, Yarrow, died July 28, 1975 at the MSA Hospital in Abbotsford.

Rev, Henry Claassen officiated at her funeral service at the First Mennonite Church in Yarrow. Interment was in Yarrow cemetery.

Pallbearers were William Schellenberg, John Janzen, John Thiessen, John Harder, Elmar Sprancis and Isaac Thiessen.

Mrs. Loewen was born on June 13, 1897 in Russia. She is survived by one son Jack, in Clearbrook and one daughter, Elly (Mrs. W.) Janzen, Yarrow, seven grandchildren and one sister in Russia.
