LETKEMAN, John

John Letkeman passed away on June 24, 2004 at the Chilliwack General Hospital. He was born in Gull Lake, Sask., August 5, 1928.

He is survived by his wife Agnes of 52 years and their children; Gary (Linda) Letkeman of Ft. Saskatchewan, Alberta, Corrine (Andre) Leblond of Calgary, and grandchildren; Mandy Letkeman, Michael Letkeman and Jessica Leblond. He is also survived by his two brothers Gerald (Mary) Letkeman of Chilliwack and Al (Noreen) Letkeman of Burnaby and three sisters Helen (Henry) Harder of New Westminster, Frieda (George) Fast of Chilliwack and Lorraine (Bill) Reimer of Pt. Coquitlam, brother-in-law, Cork (Shirley) Klassen of Adams Lake and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Letkeman was predeceased by one son Daryl, sister Anne Klassen, sister-in-law Mary Letkeman and his parents.

John worked on the pipeline since 1952 from B.C. to Ontario was known and respected by many people. Later in his career changed to Land Agent/Negotiator for the municipalities for Right-of-Ways in Surrey and in Chilliwack.

Memorial services held in the Yarrow M.B. Church on Central Road on Wednesday, June 30th, 2004 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Ron Braun officiating. Donations may be made to your charity of choice.
