KROEKER, Henry

Henry “Hank” Kroeker

1933 – 1987

Henry “Hank” Kroeker o 4290 Eckert Road, Yarrow, passed away June 1, 1987 at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops at age 53.

He was born November 6, 1933 in Provost, Alberta and lived in the Yarrow district since 1942. He was a member of the Yarrow United Mennonite Church and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 213. He was a truckdriver in the construction trade.




Hank is survived by his wife Anne; daughter Barb of Yarrow; sons and daughters-in-law Dan & Wanda of Penticton; Stan and fiancée Eunice Unger both of Yarrow; two grandchildren Kari and Kevin; sister and brother-in-law Agnes & George Berg of Port Moody; brothers and sister-in-law Jack & Rita of Greendale; Ernie of Black Creek, Vern & Darlene of Black Creek; half-sisters and their husbands: Helen & Dennis Andres of Campbell River; Mary & Gerald Letkeman of Yarrow; half-brothers and their wives: Nick & Kay Kroeker of Abbotsford; George & Erna Wiebe of Glenbush, Saskatchewan; step-sisters: Louise of Vancouver, Peggy of California; Marg and her husband Bernie of Coquitlam, four step sisters and stepbrothers in Ontario and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held June 5, 1987 from the Yarrow United Mennonite Church with Pastor John Unrau officiating,

Interment was at Yarrow Cemetery.
