Elfrieda Koehn nee Derksen

July 12, 1935 – July 25, 2013

With a deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announced the passing of our most beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister Elfrieda into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on July 25, 2013.

Elfrieda Derksen Koehn was born July 12, 1935 in Yarrow, B.C. to John & Katharina Derksen. She was the youngest of nine children. She married Aron Koehn on August 15, 1954 and they had almost fifty-nine blessed years together.

Elfrieda and Aron lived in Vancouver, Burnaby and Abbotsford and had two wonderful children: Beverly McAllister and Ronald Koehn. Elfrieda will also be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service was held at the Northview Community Church in Abbotsford on August 30, 2013
