Frank Klassen

1898 - 1988

Frank Peter Klassen of 46668 Maple Ave. Chilliwack passed away February 4, 1988 at Menno Hospital, Abbotsford at age 89.

Frank was born December 28, 1898 in Neuendorf, Russia and had lived in Chilliwack for 54 years. He was a retired berry farmer and a member of Eden Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his wife Katherine and children: Clara (Henry) Peters of Yarrow; Tina (Corney) Peters of Yarrow; Mary (Frank) Dyck of Chilliwack; Annie (Henry) Dirks of Chilliwack; Sarah Kuliesa of Chilliwack; Linda (Charlie) Hayton of Chilliwack; Betty (Bill) Voss of Vancouver; Thelma

Peter Wall of Chilliwack and 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Active casket bearers were Ed Dyck, Melvin Peters, Daryle Voss, Douglas Hayton, Dennis Dirks and Leslie Wall.

Honorary casket bearers were Henry Peters, Corny Peters, Frank Dyck, Henry Dirks, Bill Voss, Charlie Hayton and Peter Wall.

Funeral service was held February 9th 1988 from Eden Mennonite Church with Pastor Dick Rempel and Rev. George Groening officiating. Interment was at Yarrow Cemetery.
