Elmer John Klaassen was born June 17 1938 to John A. & Tina (Bornn) Klassen.

Elmer was their third child, with older sister Pearl, brother Irwin and younger brothers Dennis, Gerald and Kenneth.

Elmer grew up in Yarrow and attended school in Yarrow and Chilliwack.

He passed away February 25, 2018 peacefully after his battle with cancer.


He is survived by his wife Lorraine, sons Jeffrey and Randy, grandchildren Joel, Nicholas, Ava and Jenna and countless family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on March 10, 2018 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre in Surrey BC.
