JANZEN, Mary (Maria) Magdalene (Pauls)

Mary Janzen, 84, entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Abbotsford Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Center.

Mary was born on September 8, 1931, in Yarrow, BC to Peter and Helena Pauls. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Janzen (of 52 years) in 2005.

She leaves behind her husband Peter Rempel, of 10 years, and his daughters, Dianne and Yvonne and her own children, who will always cherish her, Linda (Bob) Laurenson, Wes (Cyndy) Janzen, Lawrence (Carolyn) Pauls, Caroline (Russ) Scheer, Lois (Randy) Peters, along with her 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mary devoted her life to serving God and took great comfort, knowing she would meet her Saviour one day.

A prayer service was held on Friday, February 5 at 2:00 at the Bakerview Mennonite Brethren Church, 2265 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
