Robert John (Rob) Isaak

1954 – 2020

Robert John (Rob) Isaak passed away on June 1, 2020 at Worthington Pavilion, Abbotsford, BC.

He was born in Carman, Manitoba on March 26, 1954 and six years later the family moved to Yarrow, BC where he began a lifetime love of his community, with its people and its transportation industry.

Rob’s love of driving and operating equipment led him to a career of truck driver, crane operator and owner-operator at Vedder Transport. His hobbies also featured driving, quadding and RVing with his loved family and friends.

Rob’s faith in God sustained him through the past years as he courageously lived with Huntington’s Disease. The family thanks the amazing staff at Worthington for their compassionate care for Rob.

Rob is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter Jackie (Kevin) of Newcastle, WA and son Matt (Heather) of Quesnel; and grandchildren Lauren, Kai, Halle and Jude.

A graveside service was held on June 6, 2020 at Yarrow Cemetery.
