
David Heinrichs of Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, BC passed away Oct 29, 1992 at the age of 85. He was formerly of Yarrow, BC.
He was born August 22, 1907 to David & Katrina (Pauls) Heinrichs in Grossweide, Molotschna, Russia.
He loved the outdoors and the family farm. After the Revolution, the family immigrated to Hepburn, Saskatchewan where his only brother Peter died.
He married Elizabeth Falk on November 23, 1930.

In 1931 they moved to a dairy farm in Yarrow, BC. He was baptized in a local creek. He loved the church and served faithfully as a parking attendant.
He loved music and often played the old pump organ. His favourite song was "Lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
David & Elizabeth retired from farming in 1982. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July 1980 at their farm in Yarrow.
David is remembered for his friendliness, sense of humour, hospitality and love for children. He is mourned by his wife Elizabeth; sons: Dr. Peter (Sara) of Burnaby; George (Erna) of Yarrow; daughters: Kay (Richard) Dyck of Richmond; Viola Heinrichs and and Betty Heinrichs of Richmond. 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was November 3, 1992 in Clearbrook MB Church with Rev. John E. Klassen and Lloyd Pankratz ministering. Pallbears were: David Heinrichs. Ron Heinrichs, Jamie Davidson, Stan Heinrichs, Gerald Heinrichs and Richard Dyck. Burial was at Yarrow Cemetery.
