Frank Heier
1931 – 1991

Frank Heier, late of Yarrow and formerly of Steinbach, Manitoba and the Caribou area, passed away June 5th 1991 age 59.

Frank was born October 19th 1931 at Steinbach, Manitoba and lived in the Chilliwack area for 30 years. He was a millworker at the East Chilliwack Co-Op for 15 years.

He is survived by his daughter Clara (Don) Knoke of Rosedale; sons John (Heather) Heier of Rosedale; and Jerry (Sherry) Heier of Jasper, Alberta; brothers: Henry (Tina) Steinbach, Manitoba; twin John (Florence) of St. Catharines, Ontario; Peter (Nell) of Alliston, Ontario; Arthur (Katie) of Steinbach, Manitoba; sister Anne (Nick) Penner of Headingly, Manitoba; Frieda (Menno) Duerksen of Steinbach, Manitoba; Laura (Gunter) Briese of White Rock, B.C.; Erna Heier of Vancouver, B.C.; grandchildren: Nick and Michelle Knoke; Mark, Jamie and Anglea Heier; Jason and Melissa Heier; 17 nieces and nephews; 17 great-nieces and nephews and by his Aunt Anna Hajer of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

He was predeceased by his father Frank Heier in 1969 and by his nephew Bruce Duerksen in 1978 and by his mother Anna (Nee Harms) Heier in 1990.

Funeral service was held June 14th from Sardis Community Church with Pastor Don Klassen officiation.

Interment followed at Yarrow Cemetery.
