Mrs. Susanna Guenther

The funeral service held March 18, 1964 in the Yarrow Mennonite Brethren Church for Mrs. Susanna Guenther who passed away March 13th, 1964 in the Chilliwack General Hospital. Rev. Henry Brucks officiated.

Pallbearers were John Guenther, Bill Guenther, George Sawatsky, Henry Guenther, Peter Teichroeb and Elmer Guenther.

Susanna Guenther was born in Winkler Manitoba in 1893 and lived in the Chilliwack district for 23 years. She was the wife of Franz Guenther, they lived on Central Road in Yarrow and then moved to 23 Victoria Avenue East in Chilliwack.

She is survived by her husband Franz Guenther, two daughters: Anna (Mrs. George) Sawatsky Yarrow and Susie (Mrs. Peter) Teichroeb of Haney; four sons: Bill Guenther Chilliwack, B.C., John Guenther Yarrow, B.C., Abe Guenther, a missionary in Africa; and Henry Guenther a missionary home on furlough from Nigeria, Africa; four sisters, two brothers, 16 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Garden Chapel Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was at Yarrow Cemetery
