Gus Gislason

1899 – 1985

Gus Gislason of 4485 Community Street, Yarrow, died May 6, 1985 in Chilliwack General Hospital

Gus was born May 14th 1899 in Pembina, North Dakota. He lived in Yarrow for 15 years and was formerly a resident of Vancouver.

He was a self-employed carpenter.

Gus is survived by his wife, Dagmar of Yarrow; a daughter Eunice and her husband Stanley Clark of Greendale; two sons: Arlon and wife Gail of Hazelton, B.C. and Donald and wife Leona of Toronto; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Emma Johnson of Blaine, Washington.

A Memorial service was held at 1:30 pm May 9th, 1985 in the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack with Rev, Ervin Bergmann officiating.

Cremation at Victory Park Crematorium, Surrey B.C.
