Abram Ewert

Abram Robert Ewert, late of Clearbrook, B.C. passed away June 11, 1989 at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, B.C. at the age of 68

He was predeceased by his parents and step-mother, a sister and a brother.

He is survived by his wife Erna; sons Sheldon Wayne of Mission, Alan Bruce of Matsqui; daughters Marilyn Joy (Donald Dale) Stebins of Oregon; Brenda Lee Faith (Gerald Wayne) Zacharias of Abbotsford; six grandchildren; and also leaves to grieve a host of relatives, friends and business associates; sisters Anna Froese of Clearbrook, Katie (Pete) Unger of Vancouver; brothers Isaac (Tina) of Chilliwack, Pete (Helen) of Hatzic.


Abe Ewert was a life member of the Gideons and a member of the Sevenoaks Alliance Church. He will be remembered by all as a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved life and lived for eternal values.

Funeral service was held from the Sevenoaks Alliance Church with Pastor William Goetz and Pastor Harold Collins officiating. Interment was at Hazelwood Mennonite Cemetery.

If friends so desire, bibles may be placed as a continuing memorial through the Gideons or donations may be made to the Indian Life Ministry.
