Isaac Dyck

1929 – 1974

Isaac Dyck was born on April 30, 1929 in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico and formerly resided in Yarrow, B.C. He was a mechanic in the logging industry. His home address was Suite 112, 5647-16th Avenue, Delta, B.C. He died December 24, 1974 at Vedder Crossing, B.C.

He is survived by two sons, Isaac of Richmond and David on Sointula; six daughter: Maria (Victor) Peters, Delta; Helen (Ron) Dyck, Richmond; Elizabeth (Aldon) Loeppky; Miss Anna Dyck, Miss Tina Dyck and Miss Nellie Dyck all of Delta; four grandchildren; three brothers: George of Mexico; John of British Honduras; and David of Morden, Manitoba; four sisters Nellie Hildebrand, Manitoba; Helen Fehr, Justina Bonnman and Maria Fehr, all of Mexico.

Funeral service was held at the Richmond Bethel Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Herbert Brandt officiating.

Pallbearer were Ron Dyck, Vic Peters, Hank Martens, Aldon Loeppky, Elvin Schellenberg and David Giesbrecht. Woodlawn Chilliwack Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Victory Memorial Park.
