
Anna Maria (Derksen) Dahl
Anna Maria (Duerksen) Dahl, late of Abbotsford, passed away on November 12, 1993 at age 88 at Menno Hospital, Abbotsford.
She was a former resident of Yarrow.
Anna Duerksen Dahl was born November 18, 1904 in Sulak Terek, South Russia to Heinrich & Maria (Penner) Duerksen. She was baptized July 6, 1919 at Wohldemfuerst, Kuban, South Russia.
Anna was raised by her uncle John Duerksen. Anna immigrated to Canada in 1924, then, moved to Yarrow, BC in 1928 with her uncle's family.

Anna and John Dahl were the first couple married in the new Yarrow MB Church in May 1930. They were charter members of Yarrow MB Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, John L. Dahl; three sons: George, Albert and Ervin.
Anna is survived by her children: Johnny, Anne, David, Leslie and Dennis, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held November 15, 1993 from Yarrow MB Church with Ron Braun officiating. Burial was at Yarrow Cemetery.
