Maria Boese

1882 - 1969

Mrs. Maria Boese, of 4367 Cypress Street, Yarrow, who had resided in this area for 21 years, died August 19th 1969 at the Chilliwack General Hospital

Mrs. Boese was born November 28, 1882 in Russia. She is survived by five sons and three daughters. They are: David of Alberta; Peter, Heinz, Jacob and Abram in Russia; Mrs. Maria Penner in Yarrow, B.C.; Mrs. Susanna Boldt and Margaret Boese in Russia. There are 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held August 23rd at 2 pm at the Yarrow Mennonite Brethren Church with Rev. H. Thielmann officiating.

Pallbearers were Dave Giesbrecht, John Dahl, John Kroeker, Peter Friesen, John Unger and Dave Unruh.

Interment was in Yarrow Cemetery.
