Kenneth William Bergen

1952 – 2019

Kenneth William Bergen passed away December 29th, 2019 at age 67 in Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack after a one-year battle with cancer.

Ken was born May 6, 1952 in Vancouver to William & Erika Bergen. His fondly remembered by his siblings Wes (Hilda), Randy (Roxanne), Sandra (John) Mitchell, Jennifer (Glen) Miller as well as 13 nieces and nephews and their spouses, and also 4 grand-nieces and nephews.

Most of his childhood years were spent growing up in Yarrow, attending Yarrow Elementary school and Sardis Secondary School. Ken moved to Chilliwack and worked for many years as grounds keeper at the Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.

Ken enjoyed spending his free time riding motorcycle, hunting, black powder shooting and camping.

Ken was predeceased by his parents William and Erika Bergen.

A celebration of Ken’s life was planned for May 23, 2020 at a place and time to be determined.
