BARTEL, Annie Dyck

It is with great sorrow and joy that Annie Bartel passed into the presence of her Saviour on October 9, 2008.

She was born to John and Annie Dyck on August 8, 1930 in Cabri, Saskatchewan and then the Dyck family moved to Ford Road near Yarrow BC. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Jonny, sister Helen, great-granddaughter Holly Joy, and her loving husband John.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by her 4 daughters: Carol (Frank Stewart), Ruth (Laird Stewart), Judy (Wes Isaac), and Gloria (Brian Unger); 11 grandchildren: Jordan, Jon (Diana), Cory, Wyona (Joel), Dustin (Jennifer), Jessica, Kevin (Kristen), Jeremy (Heidi), Julie (Bryon), Daniel, and Matthew (Celeste); 9 great-grandchildren: Anna, Jack, Emily, Sadira, Ethan, Joshua, Ila, Katelyn and Jacob. She will also be missed by brother Abe, 3 sisters: Tina, Jessie and Rose (Peter), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anne prayed daily for her family, enjoyed family gatherings, sewing quilts for MCC, and in later years enjoyed visiting with her children and grandchildren at Tim Hortons. A Memorial Service will be held at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32840 Janzen Avenue, Mission, BC on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 2:00 pm.

In honour of our Mom, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
