BANMAN, Henry

Banman Henry (Heinrich) Frank

Henry Banman was born in South Russia on September 2, 1889 in South Russia. He married Ajanetha Fast on February 7, 1912 in Russia.

They immigrated to Mexico in 1925, to Lawson, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1926. He was baptized in 1929 at Lawson Saskatchewan. They moved to B.C. in 1937 and at the time of death resided at 42020 Central Road, Yarrow. He had lived in the district for 24 years.

Henry is survived by his wife Aganetha; four sons: Willy at home; Henry, Laurde, BC; John, Port Alberni, BC; Frank, Ontario; one daughter: Mrs. John Letkeman, Braemore, AB; eight grandchildren; one sister: Mrs. David Bartel, Chilliwack, BC; two brothers: B. Banman, Clearbrook, and Jacob Banman, South America.

Rev. H. Brucks, assisted by Rev. J. Bergen officiated at the funeral service for Henry Banman at the Yarrow MB Church. Pallbearers were Peter Kliever, Julius Berg, George Baerg, Peter Epp, David Schellenberg and Peter Dyck.

Interment was at Yarrow Cemetery.
