
Lillian Allert passed into the presence of her Lord on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the M.S.A. Hospital in Abbotsford at the age of 63.
Lillian was predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Aganetha (Janzen) Allert; three siblings in infancy, her sister Agnes in 1974, her brother John in 1989 and her brother Helmut in 2001.
She was born Apr. 10, 1940 in Wembley, Alta. Later they moved to Yarrow, B.C.
Despite ill health she graduated from high school and worked in Vancouver. She had many talents, like computer skills and electrical work. She sewed clothing for her family. She accepted the Lord at 14 and served Him wholeheartedly. She taught Sunday school, worked in the church library, sang in the choir, and memorized many hymns. Later, she spent many hours at home but continued to trust the Lord in her loneliness.
She is survived by her brother Neil (Shirley) Allert; sisters Katherine Allert and Hilda Allert: sisters-in-law Linda Allert and Lil Allert and her nieces and nephews; Gord (Liz) Allert, Denise Saxbee, Craig (Corinne) Allert, Cynthia (Kevin) Wildeman, Russell Allert; Mark (Laureen) Allert, Grant (Romena) Allert, Sandra Allert and their families.
Funeral Services was held at Bakerview M.B. Church on Friday, January 2, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby, B.C. Pastor Ray Harris officiating.
